Scene: Cape Town locksmith tries to unlock his own bakkie

Keep on trucking mate, it's nearly the weekend.
Spotted at the Caltex garage in the Waterfront this morning: this poor bugger. You know your Thursday is going to suck when you’re a locksmith trying to unlock your own work van. How on earth did that happen? And where did he get the tools from?
Apologies for the cellphone quality, one more pic after the jump.

Thanks Aden!

@bob, it is possible, but it was a colleague who took the photos and he reckons the guy was in uniform, and it was 9h30 in the morning in the middle of a very busy Caltex forecourt – so hopefully it was all innocent!

Kak funny. Those bastards charged me R390 for when my girlfriend locked her keys by mistake in her car.

The Opel Corsa bakkies lock automatically sometimes. The guy probably just left the keys in the car, meaning to pop in 2 the shop quickly & the bakkie did the rest all by itself

What a post!! Very informative and also easy to understand. Looking for more such blog posts!! Do you have a twitter or a facebook?
I recommended it on digg. The only thing that it’s missing is a bit of speed, the pictures are appearing slowly. However thank you for this blog.
