Pontiac is dead and buried – After 83 years and countless rubbish show cars, the brand that gave the world the fairly iconic GTO has been wound up and shut down by parent company GM. 22 000 jobs will be lost as GM tries to restructure itself and scale down on divisions that simply no longer performed. New Lancia Stratos on the track, video – A German billionaire has commissioned Pininfarina and a custom coach builder to build a new Lancia Stratos, delighting petrol heads and rally enthusiasts the world over. No, seriously, we get excited about this sort of thing. The new Stratos will be based on the excellent Ferrari F430 but will be lighter and well, it’ll look like a Stratos. Double amazing.
